The Modern Warfare 2 Intense Theme is a unique and exciting new theme, it uses modern web techniques and compliant web standards to give you and your site users a very enjoyable friendly experience. The theme comprises of an intense night vision green combined with blacks to give it an ultimate feel, with the use of dirty textures we have created a ultimate gaming template for what should be a very popular game. DESCRIPTION: Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in PHP, some of which have unknown impact and others that can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions.

1) Input validation errors exist in the processing of exif data. This is related to vulnerability #3 in: SA36791
2) An error in "tempnam()" can be exploited to bypass the "safe_mode" feature.
3) An error in "posix_mkfifo()" can be exploited to bypass the "open_basedir" feature.

SOLUTION: Update to version 5.3.1.

New Theme Hitman

It's been a while but I released my newest theme 'Hitman' today. This theme is a black and white combo with matching forums, I carried the Hitman 'look-and-feel' throughout the theme. The forums blend in well with the rest of the site.

I have approximately 41 themes to offer on my site which are all FREE to members. Some are premium quality to include, all of my Renewal series and some in the PMC category. I am working on my downloads area in an attempt aimed at making it easier to view and download themes so look for some changes there,

I can't remember when I started designing themes for RavenNuke(tm) but back then I was possibly the only one.

I also have 3 projects that I am working on, once my theming utility is done this week I will start cranking out some really nice free themes almost every day. Be sure to watch for them.

My next project is a 'Backup_Recovery module. It's ready to go now as a standalone app. but I want to go a couple of steps further and make it into a module with the ability to recover the database files if you ever get hacked through your MySQL database while using any sort of app from a untrusted site. Under usual day-to-day operations of your site you can use the module from inside the admin area.

My last project, for now, is a virtual keyboard captcha which Southern Wolf had the initial idea and passed it along to me. I coded the initial backbone stuff in one day now I have to add the security features and the randomizer.

Microsoft to Release Documentation for Outlook Personal Folders Format

Many a Linux user has already stumbled upon .pst documents, such as attached to emails in "Outlook Format." Microsoft now wants to publish documentation for the file format.

Under the keyword "interoperability," Microsoft group manager Paul Lorimer indicated in his blog that the company will make its Outlook Personal Folders format (.pst) specification available to more than just its developers. The publication should make it easier for anyone to write a program or library to handle the file format without needing written permission from Microsoft.

However, releasing the documentation is not under a free license, but under the Microsoft Open Specification Promise, an intellectual property rights implementation initiated in 2006 whereby Microsoft promises not to file claims against use of certain of their licensed or patented technologies. A similar Community Promise from 2007 applied to the free Mono .NET implementation.

According to Lorimer's blog, the PST specification is still in an early draft, with an exact release date still TBD.

Ever wondered what your site looked like to Googles crawler? Thanks to a brand new tool from Google, you can now see exactly how your site appears to Googles GoogleBot.
1 - Log-in to your Google account and go to your Webmaster Tools area.
2 - One you are there, you will see a list of your site; just click the link to one of them.
3 - On the left hand side, you will now see the 'Labs' link. Click on that and use the 'Fetch as Googlebot' link.

A 'Pending' notice will appear on the right and shortly afterwards, is replaced by a 'Success' link which you can now click to see exactly how your page looks to Googles bot.

Websense® Security Labs(TM) ThreatSeeker(TM) Network has discovered a new wave of malicious email attacks claiming to be a password reset confirmation from Facebook. The From: address on the messages is spoofed using support@facebook.com to make the messages believable to recipients. The messages contain a .zip file attachment with an .exe file inside. Internet language shake up

The internet is on the brink of the "biggest change" to its working "since it was invented 40 years ago", net regulator Icann has said.

The body said it that it was finalising plans to introduce web addresses using non-Latin characters. The proposal (initially approved in 2008) would allow domain names written in Asian, Arabic or other scripts. The body said if the final plans were approved on 30 October, it would accept the first applications by 16 November.

The first Internationalised Domain Names (IDNs) could be up and running by "mid 2010" said the president of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (Icann). "Of the 1.6 billion internet users today worldwide, more than half use languages that have scripts that are not Latin-based," said Rod Beckstrom at the opening of Icann's conference in Seoul, South Korea. "So this change is very much necessary for not only half the world's internet users today but more than half, probably, of the future users as the internet continues to spread."

Relaxed rules
Plans for ILDs were approved at a meeting in June 2008. However, testing of the system has been going on for much longer, said Peter Dengate Thrush, chairman of the board in charge of reviewing the change. "You have to appreciate what a fantastically complicated technical feature this is," he said. "What we have created is a different translation system."
The changes will be applied to the net's Domain Name System. This acts like a phone book, translating easily understood domain names such as code-authors.com into strings of computer readable numbers known as IP addresses. The tweaks will allow this system to recognise and translate the non-Latin characters.
"We are confident that it works because we have been testing it for a couple of years," said Mr Dengate Thrush. "We're really ready to start rolling it out."
Some countries, such as China and Thailand, have already introduced workarounds that allow computer users to enter web addresses in their own language. However, these were not internationally approved and do not necessarily work on all computers.

The meeting in South Korea will also discuss its plans to introduce generic Top Level Domains (TLDs), such as .uk or .com. Last year, the body voted to relax rules on TLDs meaning companies could turn brands into web addresses, while individuals could use their names. Icann, set up by the US government, was founded in 1998 to oversee the development of the net. Last month, after years of criticism, the US government eased its control over the non-profit body, signing a new agreement that gave Icann autonomy for the first time. The agreement came into effect on 1 October and puts it under the scrutiny of the global "internet community".
