BOWIE'S "SPACE ODDITY" IS NOW A CHILDREN'S BOOK

The lyrics from David Bowie's 1969 hit "Space Oddity" have been used as the text for a new (and rather scary) children's book by artist Andrew Kolb. For those who aren't familiar with Bowie's Major Tom; the song tells the story of a fictional astronaut (Major Tom) who becomes a celebrity on earth after being launched into space. While out on a space walk, his space craft suffers terminal damage, leaving him stranded with only just enough time to send one final message of love down to his wife. A PDF of the nearly 40 page book can be downloaded for free on Kolb's website - kolbisneat.com.
