This was my first intarsia project. The tutorial is very helpful and has photos to show every step of the way.
I used very little blue yarn and only about 3m of the red.
I was thrilled to get the hang of seamless intarsia with this beautiful tutorial. This pattern has lots of great information. I’ve got a couple of loose stitches, but as a first go with a new technique, I’m quite pleased. It’s for my daughter, who’s only 9, so I’m so sure she’ll forgive a few loose sts.
The picture shows how I wasn’t getting the technique on one of the row joins for many rows. But by the end I’d sorted it out, and it looked great. Really good tutorial. The process is a bit fiddly but well worth the smooth seamless result.
