JOHN FOGERTY ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM

John Fogerty has announced a fall release for his new album, 'Wrote A Song For Everyone'. Billed as a "celebration of Fogerty's iconic songbook," the former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman will be joined by such big-name artists as Foo Fighters - on the song"Fortunate Son" - My Morning Jacket, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley as well as fellow "blue-collar hero" Bob Seger who will help out on "Who'll Stop the Rain". A complete track list, including collaborators will be announced soon.

BOB SEGER AMONG SONGWRITER'S HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

Bob Seger is heading into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame this coming June in a ceremony that will take place in New York City. The nomination was announced this past October, at which time Seger stated, "I really work hard on (songwriting). I like to think that... I leave a little blood on the page and work really hard on my lyrics, chord changes and everything, structures. So it's pretty heartening to get that nod." (more)

Bob Seger has announced that he is working on his first studio album since 2006's 'Face The Music'. "I am setting myself a deadline of September 24th to have it out," he told Rolling Stone. "Wish me luck!"
